Kami Turner, LPC-S, CCTP

I completed my undergraduate degree in Psychology before obtaining a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I have the privilege of treating clients directly in a variety of areas, including depression and anxiety management. I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults in various treatment environments including churches, private practices, and behavioral health hospitals as both an inpatient and outpatient therapist. These experiences have allowed me the unique opportunity to work with clients from all walks of life.

I especially enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families to improve their own quality of life as well as their interpersonal relationships. I offer insight on parent-child relationships including providing therapy for adolescents and young adults, as well as teaching parenting skills and techniques. I also provide pre-marital and marriage counseling, divorce care, and work with clients through unresolved grief and loss. Additionally, I have experience in career counseling, including issues involving the workplace and conflict resolution. I even assist in ironing out issues between friends. I have worked with clients of various ages and cultural backgrounds on a vast number of issues. If you desire to discuss any issue involving a relationship with another person, whether personal or professional, I may be the right counselor for you.

Specialty areas close to my heart include treating survivors of abuse, domestic violence, and sexual assault. I have a strong desire to help adults and young people who have been faced with such tragedies to walk through their experiences on their unique road to healing.
